Alaafin of Oyo Steps Out, Shops With Four Wives in UK

The Alaafin of Oyo Oba Lamidi Olayiwola Adeyemi, has been spotted at Westfield Mall in London, UK with four of his wives shopping.

The Alaafin who actually travelled to celebrate his 76th birthday which was held last week, made heads to turn as his gorgeously dressed wives flocked around him.

Oba Lamidi Olayiwola Adeyemi III is the traditional ruler, of Oyo town and the rightful heir to the throne of its historic empire.

His father, the Alaafin of Oyo Oba Adeyemi II Adeniran, was deposed and exiled in 1954 for sympathizing with the National Council of Nigerian Citizens (NCNC). He had come into conflict with Bode Thomas, deputy leader of the Action Group.
