Gov Abiodun promise to tackle flooding in Ogun State

Dapo Abiodun the Ogun State Governor has promised to tackle flooding affecting major parts of the state.

Scores of people already lost their property to the recent flooding.

The flooding occurring in most parts of the state includes Ijebu-Ode alongside the state capital Abeokuta.


Abiodun was on an inspection tour of some areas in Ijebu-Ode.

The areas comprises of Moborode, Igbeba, Paramount, Degun, Italapo and Imowo, Ibadan roads.

He also appealed to the residents of the state to stop trowing trash into drainage within the state.

Abiodun stressed on the importance of residents blocking the drains with dirts.

He asked of the residents to adhere to advice so as to allow the free flow of water.
