Judiciary staff collapsed and Dies in Kogi

A worker of a Magistrates’ Court II in the state capital of Kogi collapsed and lost her life inside her house.

The demised was said to have lost her life in what co worker said to be related to the non payment of 8 months salary by the state government.

The woman who was just 45 year known as Mrs. Fatimah Noah, passed away just after a week the judiciary staffs terminated their 5 months of strike.

It was made known that Fatima who was a widow, collapsed and passed on Thursday, at about 8 p.m in her house in Lokoja.

Those closed to her said, the woman also referred to as Mama Danladi has never complained about been sick. This either at home or at her place of work.

She was said to have lost her husband some years back, she was the family bread winner before her death. The non payment of 8 months salary aggravated the situation.

“She is having wads in universities. She made efforts to borrow Twenty thousand Naira about 3 days ago. This in order to send it to one of her sons in the university without success,” a source disclosed.

Mama Danladi’s remains have been transferred to her home town, Idah, and had been buried according to Muslims rites.
