Badminton Star Lee Chong Wei announced his retirement earlier Today after surviving Cancer.

The Super star is hereby bringing an end to an awesome career.

He has a collection of a swathe of honors during his career.


Wei has never won a world or Olympic title in his career too.

“My decision to drop the baton is really a tough decision. I am really in love with this game”.

Lee 36, was revealing all this amidst teary eyes in news conference.

Lee, with two kids, was diagnosed with nose cancer in 2018.

He underwent an intensive treatment in Taiwan revealing that he wished to play again.

He hasn’t trained since April and after missing out on a series of self imposed deadlines to return to the game.

His dreams of playing in next year Tokyo Olympics is really slim.
