Meet Janet Jumbo, the First Nigerian Model to Walk for Louis Vuitton

16 year old Janet Jumbo has made a name for herself by being the first Nigerian model to walk for renowned high fashion label- Louis Vuitton.

Janet is the happiest girl in the world right now and the story of how she was discovered on her way from church is an inspiration to many.

According to her, she was spotted by a fashion scout on her way from church and having loved the way she walked, she was signed into Raw Models.

The model is a native of Rivers state Nigeria but was born and brought up in Lagos state.

She took to social media to thank everyone that made it possible for her to achieve the milestone.

She said:

“LOUIS VUITTON EXCLUSIVE Can’t believe I’m the first Nigerian model to walk for (@louisvuitton).

“I’m so grateful to everyone that made this happen (@raw_models) (@ashleybrokaw) (@nicolasghesquiere) (@imgmodels) I’m the happiest girl on the planet right now,” Jumbo said.
